Discussed are: the US outlook on alcohol fuels; national approaches to alcohol fuels in Brazil, Central America, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, India, Sweden, and Austria; alcohol fuels technologies; economic impact; and the development of international and domestic public policy. Selected papers have been abstracted for inclusion in the Energy Data Base.
