Possibilities of reducing consumption of fuel and energy resources at a coking plant of the Nizhnii tagil group of metallurgical works
The contribution of energy expenditures to (total) cost is not great; overexpenditure in the area of energy-expenditures does not have a great effect on cost. In the authors' opinion, a better non-State financing indicator would be the cost of production-unit redistribution, to which auxiliary data must also be referred - i.e., it is to be calculated as the difference between workshop cost, and expenditures for raw material and principal materials. FER overexpenditures can be strongly counterbalanced by savings using other items of expenditure which make up the cost of redistribution. In the future, it would be advisable to pay more attention to this overexpenditure when analyzing the fulfillment of a plan. What is also important is the fact that a portion of the FER expenditure is conventionally fixed and does not depend on production volume. Specific energy-expenditures are essentially lowered with an increase in production volume. Production-volume is less valuable as a non-State financing index which can be abandoned by using only qualitative indexes: the cost of conversion, labor productivity, that portion of production exceeding a quality-category. This would increase the effectiveness of stimulating a fuel-energy resources economy.
