Sizing centrifugal pumps for maximum energy savings

In the search for energy savings every aspect of pump is analyzed and reviewed. The system design is looked into, the system requirements are reduced to the minimum, and attention is given to most efficient pump selection for the system. As the obvious choice for heat, ventilation and air conditioning (HVSC) is a centrifugal pump, many variables are considered and evaluated by looking at the effect of each on pump efficiency. A pump selection nomograph is furnished as a design aid.
