Simplification of culture medium and conditions for fermentation of henequen pulp

Henequen pulp is obtained during the defibering process of Agave fourcroydes which grows in the southeast of Mexico. Previously, dried untreated henequen pulp was fermented to give protein but in this work the increase in the yields of crude protein from the fermentation of fresh henequen pulp are presented.
