Use of emulsified anthracene oil to intensify the flotation process

The flotation process in coal preparation has been improved using anthracene oil emulsions, the emulsifying agent being neutralized crude benzol acid tar liquor. The advantages of this process are the use of plentiful coking industry waste products, a reduction in flotation time and a decrease in the moisture content of the flotation concentrate.
