Warehouse insulation guarantees a cool brew

Controlling beer temperature to ensure product quality is becoming common practise among wholesalers and distributors because of standards being issued by brewers like The Stroh Brewery Company. This article discusses the ways in which a Florida beverage distributor retrofitted its warehouse with easy-to-install metal building insulation to comply with such strict storage standards. It is reported that installation of the additional insulation has afforded the company a reduced up-front investment in equipment and a $25,000 savings in HVAC equipment costs. Predicted as well is a decrease in operating costs.
