Optical sensing system for thermoplastic composites manufacturing
An optical sensing system for a new method of manufacturing thermoplastic composite material is presented. The manufacturing process and its sensing requirements are discussed. The system architecture and several sensors which have been developed are described. 4 refs., 3 figs.
