In this book the authors look at the various breast imaging techniques currently in use. By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of these methods, they aim to help radiologists improve their skills in the accurate and early diagnosis of breast cancer, whilst reducing the number of unnecessary biopsies. These reports will also interest many public health officers as they discuss the risk- and cost-effectiveness of large scale screening as well as making several practical suggestions for the management of future programs.
