This paper reports on reflecting concern over Morocco's position as a net oil importer, that officials hope that revised hydrocarbon laws presented in 1984 will clarify and improve terms under which international companies come into the kingdom. State oil exploration company Onarep is being restructured and the new petroleum law as recently ratified.
