Liquid Cryogens, Vol 2 Properties and Applications
Book

OSTI ID:5650058
Experts in the field contribute detailed discussions of the fundamentals of refrigeration, liquefaction, storage and handling of cryogenic fluids in these two volumes. Emphasis is placed on helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and liquified natural gas (LNG). New and updated information resulting from the great expansion of cryogenic technology and its applications is presented. Applications of the fundamentals to small scale laboratory situations and to large scale installations such as those associated with the international commerce of LNG are considered. Also included are discussions on applications of superconducting, and space and magnetic refrigeration systems.
