This paper contains information concerning the microbial populations in metal working fluids and the waste treatment system that degrades the waste water. The microorganisms were isolated and identified and then various chemical tests were performed on them to determine the effects it had the microorganisms. These tests included changing the pH factor of the environment, determining the biocide MIC, and changing the carbon source in the environment. These results were then analyzed to see if microorganisms of the same species but from different locations showed any resistance to the tests. Based on the results obtained on Acinetobacter, the location of this bacterium did not influence the results.
