This project involved the effort to determine the feasibility of using previously identified warm waters at Lebanon Springs, New York, or elsewhere in the Capital District, as an energy source. In addition to geologic mapping of the Lebanon Springs area and Williamstown, Massachusetts area, thermal gradients were measured in 25 abandoned water wells in the area and the silica content and water temperatures of 78 active domestic water wells were determined.
