New zone controls help achieve total environmental quality

This article examines a number of environmental factors to be considered when developing comfort and air quality criteria: total environmental quality (TEQ). Also included are several economical new comfort control techniques available for achieving TEQ in addition to those traditionally used. One technique described in detail is individual terminal control which allows each office or work area the capacity for an individually regulated environment.
