Also designed for the TI-59 model, this program determines a well's kick tolerance - that is, the safety factor available between the maximum allowable equivalent mud weight (including choke pressure) and the actual mud weight in the hole being drilled. The program also calculates, for an estimated kick size, the maximum allowable choke and formation pressures. Input data include casing-seat depth, leak-off gradient, current depth, mud weight, hole diameter, collar OD, collar length, drill-pipe OD, and estimated kick size. Leak-off is assumed to occur at the casing seat.
