The Master Disposal Service Landfill is listed on the National Priorities List. The site is located on the western edge of Brookfield in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. From 1962 to 1982, Master Disposal Service, Inc. operated a 40-acre landfill and filled a 26-acre wetland area by accepting in excess of 1.5 million gallons of industrial wastes.
