Final TMI-2 technology transfer progress report

This is the final in a series of five progress reports prepared by EPRI's TMI-2 Site Office documenting EPRI's ten year research and technology transfer program. This report covers the period from August 1987 through December 1990. A brief history of EPRI's involvement in the TMI-2 accident recovery program is presented. This is followed by a discussion of technical accomplishments during the reporting period in the areas of decontamination, defueling, dose management, operations, radioactive waste management, reactor system characterization, robotics, and reactor damage assessment. The report concludes with a brief discussion of the closure of the EPRI TMI-2 Site Office in early 1991, available sources of TMI-2 information, and ongoing TMI-2 activities that may be of interest to operating plant personnel.
