This article discusses the proposed reappeal of the Public Utility Holding Company Act of 1935. The act itself, what it intended to accomplish, and what it did accomplish are discussed. The author concludes that the effectiveness of state regulation has been restored so that PUHCA has accomplished its objective and should be repealed.
