Interstitially-stabilized praseodymium(III) compounds Na{sub 2}Pr{sub 4}Br{sub 9}NO and Pr{sub 8}Br{sub 13}N{sub 3}O: Structures on the border between salts and clusters

The authors describe the chemical preparation of the title compounds in sealed niobium tubing between 750 and 950 {degrees}C. Crystal structures of these compounds are reported. It is found that the structures bridge the gap between metal rich clusters and simple salts.
