Demonstrating management commitment

Any guidance document, any conference, any speech regarding pollution prevention will emphasize the importance of management support as a process element. Most organizations would probably respond that they, indeed, support pollution prevention, waste minimization, and source reduction. How do you translate good intentions into tangible actions that visibly demonstrate management support? The author believes that the key ingredients are visibility through communication and regular reinforcement and integration of pollution prevention planning with other business processes.
