DETECTOR FOR TELEPHONE SURREPTITIOUS LISTENING TECHNIQUES
Abstract
An apparatus is described for attaching to a telephone to detect any attempt to wire-tap using the telephone microphone as a source of voice modulation. The approach taken is to continuously monitor the voltage across the microphone only when the telephone disconnect switch is actuated. If a voltage is detected, a device is operated to give a warning.
