Title: Modified Y and USY zeolite for high activity and stability FCC catalyst

Abstract

Y and USY zeolite are the main active components of the catalysts for the FCC. The improvements of them are very important for the development of the advanced catalysts for FCC of VGO and RO. Na-y can be modified with rare earth hydroxide and silica sol then exchanged with ammonium phosphate. The non-framework alumina species in the micropores of USY can be removed by mineral acid treatment, its property can further be improved with phosphor and rare earth. The crystallinity microactivity and coke formation selectivity of the catalyst containing modified y-zeolite are improved, compared to the unmodified Y, the microactivity of the catalyst containing modified USY can be increased by 7-9 units and the specific coke formation can be reduced by 30-40%, after hydrothermal treatment at 800{degrees}C for 17 hours.
