Measurement facilities performing characterization of wastes intended for disposal at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) are required to produce data of sufficient quality to meet the Data Quality Objectives (DQOs) of the Transuranic Waste Program. This paper provides the details of the required method performance data. Plans for on-site assessments by independent review teams are discussed.
