Pricing and planning services for wholesale customers

This paper describes a thorough but uncomplicated approach to transmission and distribution planning that evaluates utility expansion plans amid a wide variety of nontraditional alternatives. Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is currently involved in an Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) project which will use the methodology to substantiate or enhance planning decisions for itself and for participating wholesale customers within the TVA service territory.
