We investigate the energy and multiplicity distributions of gamma-rays following neutron capture in 94,95Mo. By comparing simulated gamma cascades following radiative capture with experimental spectra we try to learn something about the photon strength function at energies below the separation energy. The point of this comparison is to try and confirm recent experiments that found an anomalous low energy enhancement in the photon strength function for molybdenum isotopes.
