A new integrated turbogas burner test rig will be presented. It is made up by two plants: an atmospheric test rig for full scale big burners (V94.2), and a medium pressure rig for testing scaled down burners or full scale smaller burners (V64.2). The aim of the integrated test rig is to provide a complete characterization of single burners firing fuels coming from different gasification process such as coal gasification or tar refinery residual oil gasification. Original constructive concepts and extensive instrumentation have been used for obtaining not only conventional quantitative data but also qualitative information such as flame shape or fluid dynamic flame imaging.
