Typical wetland creations are based on sizable surface water input provided by stream diversion or large surface water run-on inputs to enhance the success of the establishing the wetland hydrology. However, not all landscapes provide sizable hydrological inputs from these sources. This paper presents a case history and statistical approach adopted to model groundwater for a wetland created in a landscape position which does not allow for the use of surface water inputs.
