A program of membrane testing was conducted to select specific membranes and processes and to determine design parameters for the facility. After leaf and element testing, a pilot study was performed to provide data on performance. An objective was to track chemical oxygen demand (COD) and phosphorus removal by each membrane process. The performance of the membrance processes with respect to COD and phosphorus removal is the subject of this paper.
