The 1994 Addenda will bring in two new concepts to the ASME Section 3 Code. The first is a new NCA-3800 which will focus more on the hardware and less on the paper associated with material. The second is a new approach on piping seismic design rules. In addition to these two changes a new revision to Code Case N-483 (N-483-2) is in the process which will establish the testing and examinations required to accept material for Section 3 fabrication.
