Title: Materials Data on HfNiPb by Materials Project

HfNiPb is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Hf is bonded to six equivalent Ni and four equivalent Pb atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and face-sharing HfNi6Pb4 tetrahedra. All Hf–Ni bond lengths are 3.13 Å. All Hf–Pb bond lengths are 2.71 Å. Ni is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Hf and four equivalent Pb atoms. All Ni–Pb bond lengths are 2.71 Å. Pb is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Hf and four equivalent Ni atoms.
