Title: Materials Data on VInPt by Materials Project

VPtIn is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. V is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Pt and four equivalent In atoms. All V–Pt bond lengths are 2.69 Å. All V–In bond lengths are 2.69 Å. Pt is bonded to four equivalent V and six equivalent In atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and face-sharing PtV4In6 tetrahedra. All Pt–In bond lengths are 3.10 Å. In is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to four equivalent V and six equivalent Pt atoms.
