Title: Materials Data on UNiSn by Materials Project

UNiSn is half-Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded to six equivalent Ni and four equivalent Sn atoms to form a mixture of distorted face and corner-sharing UNi6Sn4 tetrahedra. All U–Ni bond lengths are 3.34 Å. All U–Sn bond lengths are 2.89 Å. Ni is bonded in a distorted q6 geometry to six equivalent U and four equivalent Sn atoms. All Ni–Sn bond lengths are 2.89 Å. Sn is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent U and four equivalent Ni atoms.
