Title: Materials Data on PbCl4 by Materials Project

PbCl4 is Silicon tetrafluoride-like structured and crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four lead tetrachloride molecules. Pb4+ is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four Cl1- atoms. All Pb–Cl bond lengths are 2.42 Å. There are two inequivalent Cl1- sites. In the first Cl1- site, Cl1- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Pb4+ atom. In the second Cl1- site, Cl1- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Pb4+ atom.
