Materials Data on NdAg2 by Materials Project
Ag2Nd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd is bonded to twelve equivalent Ag atoms to form a mixture of face and edge-sharing NdAg12 cuboctahedra. There are eight shorter (3.31 Å) and four longer (3.32 Å) Nd–Ag bond lengths. Ag is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Nd and three equivalent Ag atoms. All Ag–Ag bond lengths are 2.79 Å.
