HyperMic is the control software for the Hyperspectral Confocal Microscope, and is required for the use of the microscope. It interfaces with, and controls the main subsystems of the microscope including the EMCCD detector, the video camera, the XYZ stage system, the optical shutters, the filter wheels, and the illumination sources. It allows the user to select regions to image, and acquire and save hyperspectral images. HyperMic is capable of acquiring single (2-dimensional) image frames or full 3-dimensional image stacks.
