The Laslo code solves the one dimensional mass, momentum, and energy conservation equations in Lagrangian form. The intended purpose of this code is to simplify the implementation of material models and the determination of optimal material parameters. Users can implement material models in Python (an open source interpreted language) without the need to recompile the code. Optimal material parameters are determined by providing the desired output and bounds on the parameter set.
