FLORA solves, in a 2D domain for the linearized stability of a long-thin (paraxial)axisymmetric equilibrium. This is of interest for determining the magnetohydrodynamic stability of a magnetic mirror plasma confinement system including finite-Larmor radius and rotation effects.
