This software is a tool used to quickly solve for probability of success and confidence calculations for binomial data. This is the equation that allows the calculation of confidence level based on the target probability of success, the number of trials in a test and the number of misses (failed trials) allowed in a test plan. This equation is difficult to use and for plans other than when the number of misses allowed is zero the equation cannot be solved algebraically for the number of trials required. The equation then has to be solved numerically for the number or required trials by repeatedly guessing numbers of trials and solving the equation until the confidence level is met or exceeded. This process is tiresome when done manually but the equation is easily programmed into a computer. Tables of these results can be found in statistical texts and on the internet. This software program allows the user to quickly solve the equation by plugging in the known values and solving the equation.
