Materials Data on ErAu2 by Materials Project
Au2Er crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Er is bonded in a distorted q6 geometry to ten equivalent Au atoms. There are eight shorter (3.02 Å) and two longer (3.03 Å) Er–Au bond lengths. Au is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Er atoms.
