Materials Data on PuPd by Materials Project
PuPd is Zintl Phase structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of two PuPd frameworks. Pu is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pd atoms. There are two shorter (2.79 Å) and two longer (2.91 Å) Pu–Pd bond lengths. Pd is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pu atoms.
