2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry
October 2009 – Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, Thomas A. Steitz, and Ada E. Yonath were awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their seminal research related to the ribosome’s translation of DNA information into the code of life.
