Decay of massive scalar hair in the background of a dilaton gravity black hole

We investigate analytically both the intermediate and late-time behavior of the massive scalar field in the background of the static spherically symmetric black hole solution in dilaton gravity with an arbitrary coupling constant. The intermediate asymptotic behavior of the scalar field depends on the field's parameter mass as well as the multiple number l. On its turn, the late-time behavior has the power-law decay rate independent on the coupling constant in the theory under consideration.

Black holes in Born-Infeld extended new massive gravity

In this paper we find different types of black holes for the Born-Infeld extended new massive gravity. Our solutions include (un)charged warped (anti-)de Sitter black holes for four and six derivative expanded action. We also look at the black holes in unexpanded Born-Infeld action. In each case we calculate the entropy, angular momentum and mass of the black holes. We also find the central charges for the conformal field theory duals.

The Isolated Horizons (IH) formalism, together with a simple phenomenological model for colored black holes has been used to predict nontrivial formulas that relate the ADM mass of the solitons and hairy Black Holes of Gravity-Matter system on the one hand, and several horizon properties of the black holes in the other. Massive scalar particle emission from Schwarzschild black holes

A study is undertaken to compute the absorption coefficients (or particle scattering cross-sections) of massive, scalar modes of Hawking radiation emanating from Schwarzschild black holes. This is accomplished using various variable - and constant - stepwise techniques whose results are later compared. All techniques are applied to the initial value problem associated with the system of two first-order ordinary differential equations derived from separating the Klein-Gordon wave equation in a Kerr-Newman geometry into radial and angular second-order differential equations; and all use the same JWKB-approximated starting values and asymptotic forms of the system's solutions. We have used the Kaluza-Klein theory to study a class of possible couplings between gravity and massive scalar fields. The Einstein equations have been integrated and the conformal structure of the spacetime has been explicitly determined.
