We consider the dynamics of the supersymmetry-breaking scalar field and the production of dark matter gravitinos via its decay in a gauge-mediated supersymmetry breaking model with metastable vacuum. We find that the scalar field amplitude and gravitino density are extremely sensitive to the parameters of the hidden sector. For the case of an O'Raifeartaigh sector, we show that the observed dark matter density can be explained by gravitinos even for low reheating temperatures T{sub R}∼<10GeV. Such low reheating temperatures may be implied by detection of the NLSP at the LHC if its thermal freeze-out density is in conflict with BBN.

Symplectic SUSY gauge theories with antisymmetric matter

We investigate the confining phase vacua of supersymmetric Sp(2{ital N}{sub {ital C}}) gauge theories that contain matter in both fundamental and antisymmetric representations. The moduli spaces of such models with {ital N}{sub {ital F}}=3 quark flavors and {ital N}{sub {ital A}}=1 antisymmetric fields are analogous to that of SUSY QCD with {ital N}{sub {ital F}}={ital N}{sub {ital C}}+1 flavors. In particular, the forms of their quantum superpotentials are fixed by classical constraints. Toward electroweak scale cold dark matter with local dark gauge symmetry and beyond the DM EFT

In this talk, I describe a class of electroweak (EW) scale dark matter (DM) models where its stability or longevity are the results of underlying dark gauge symmetries: stable due to unbroken local dark gauge symmetry or topology, or long-lived due to the accidental global symmetry of dark gauge theories. Compared with the usual phenomenological dark matter models (including DM EFT or simplified DM models), DM models with local dark gauge symmetries include dark gauge bosons, dark Higgs bosons and sometimes excited dark matter. Gauge conditions in combined dark energy and dark matter systems

When analyzing a system consisting of both dark matter and dark energy, an often used practice in the literature is to neglect the perturbations in the dark energy component. However, it has recently been argued, through the use of numerical simulations, that one cannot do so. In this work we show that by neglecting such perturbations one is implicitly making a choice of gauge.
