Gravity-mediated dark matter annihilation in the Randall-Sundrum model

Observational evidence for dark matter stems from its gravitational interactions, and as of yet there has been no evidence for dark matter interacting via other means. We examine models where dark matter interactions are purely gravitational in a Randall-Sundrum background. In particular, the Kaluza-Klein tower of gravitons which result from the warped fifth dimension can provide viable annihilation channels into Standard Model final states, and we find that we can achieve values of the annihilation cross section, < σv >, which are consistent with the observed relic abundance in the case of spin-1 dark matter. Black Hole Production at the LHC by Standard Model Bulk Fields in the Randall-Sundrum Model.

We consider the production of black holes at the LHC in the Randall-Sundrum (RS) model through the collisions of Standard Model(SM) fields in the bulk. In comparison to the previously studied case where the SM fields are all confined to the TeV brane, we find substantial suppressions to the corresponding collider cross sections for all initial states, i.e., gg, qq and gq, where q represents a light quark or anti-quark which lie close to the Planck brane. We consider the possibility of the Higgs mechanism in the bulk in a generalized Randall-Sundrum model, where a nonvanishing cosmological constant is induced on the visible brane. This scenario has the advantage of accommodating positive tension of the visible brane and thus ensures stability of the model. Custodial bulk Randall-Sundrum model and B{yields}K*l{sup +}l{sup '-}

The custodial Randall-Sundrum model based on SU(2){sub L}xSU(2){sub R}xU(1){sub B-L} generates new flavor-changing-neutral-current (FCNC) phenomena at tree level, mediated by Kaluza-Klein (KK) neutral gauge bosons. Based on two natural assumptions of universal 5D Yukawa couplings and no cancellation in explaining the observed standard model (SM) fermion mixing matrices, we determine the bulk Dirac mass parameters. Phenomenological constraints from lepton-flavor violations are also used to specify the model. From the comprehensive study of B{yields}K*l{sup +}l{sup '-}, we found that only the B{yields}K*e{sup +}e{sup -} decay has sizable new physics effects.
