Study of $η (1475)$ and $X (1835)$ in radiative $J / ψ$ decays to $γ ϕ$

The decay J/ψ → γγΦ is studied using a sample of 1.31×109 J/ events collected with the BESIII detector. Two structures around 1475 MeV/c² and 1835 MeV/c² are observed in the invariant mass spectrum for the first time. With a fit on the γΦ invariant mass, which takes into account the interference between the two structures, and a simple analysis of the angular distribution, the structure around 1475 MeV/c² is found to favor an assignment as the (1475) and the mass and width for the structure around 1835 MeV/c² are consistent with the X(1835). Measurement of branching fractions of $ψ (3686) \to ϕ η^{'}$ , $ϕ f_{1} (1285)$ and $ϕ η (1405)$

Using a sample of 448.1 × 10⁶ ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform a study of the decay ψ(3686) → Φπ⁺π^–η. The branching fraction of ψ(3686) → Φη' is determined to be (1.51 ± 0.16 ± 0.12) × 10^–5, which is consistent with the previous measurement but with significantly improved precision. The resonances f₁(1285) and η(1405) are clearly observed in the π⁺π^–η mass spectrum with statistical significances of 18σ and 9.7σ, respectively. Observation of $ψ (3686) \to p \bar{p} ϕ$

Using a data sample of 4.48 ×10⁸ ψ(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector, we present a first observation of ψ(3686) → pp¯φ, and we measure its branching fraction to be [6.06 ± 0.38(stat) ± 0.48(syst)] ×10^–6. In contrast to the earlier discovery of a threshold enhancement in the pp¯-mass spectrum of the channel J/ψ → γpp¯, denoted as X(pp¯), we do not find a similar enhancement in ψ(3686) → pp¯φ. An upper limit of 1.82 ×10^–7 at the 90% confidence level on the branching fraction of ψ(3686) → X(pp¯)φ → pp¯φ is obtained.
