Title: Measurement of B⁰→J/ψη^(') and constraint on the η-η' mixing angle

Abstract

We measure the branching fractions of B⁰→J/ψη^(') decays with the complete Belle data sample of 772×10⁶ BB¯¯¯ events collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e⁺e⁻ collider. The results for the branching fractions are: B(B⁰→J/ψη)=(12.3±^1.81_1.7±0.7)×10⁻⁶ and B(B⁰→J/ψη')<7.4×10⁻⁶ at 90% confidence level. The η-η' mixing angle is constrained to be less than 42.2° at 90% confidence level.

Search for B decays to final states with the η_c meson

We report a search for B decays to selected final states with the η_c meson: B^± → K^±η_cπ⁺π^-, B^± → K^±η_cω, B^± → K^±η_cη and B^± → K^±η_cπ⁰. The analysis is based on 772 × 10⁶ BB-bar pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e⁺e^- collider. We set 90% confidence level upper limits on the branching fractions of the studied B decay modes, independent of intermediate resonances, in the range (0.6–5.3) × 10^-4. Measurement of the decays $B \to η ℓ ν_{ℓ}$ and $B \to η^{'} ℓ ν_{ℓ}$ in fully reconstructed events at Belle

We report branching fraction measurements of the decays B⁺ → ηℓ⁺νℓ and B⁺ → η'ℓ⁺νℓ based on 711 fb^–1 of data collected near the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e⁺e^– collider. This data sample contains 772 million BB¯ events. One of the two B mesons is fully reconstructed in a hadronic decay mode. Among the remaining (“signal-B”) daughters, we search for the η meson in two decay channels, η → γγ and η → π⁺π^–π⁰, and reconstruct the η' meson in η' → ηπ⁺π^– with subsequent decay of the η into γγ. First Observation of B_s⁰→J/ψη and B_s⁰→J/ψη'

We report first observations of B_s⁰→J/ψη and B_s⁰→J/ψη'. The results are obtained from 121.4 fb⁻¹ of data collected at the Υ(5S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e⁺e⁻ collider. We obtain the branching fractions B(B_s⁰→J/ψη)=[5.10±0.50(stat)±0.25(syst)^+1.14_-0.79(NB(*)sB¯¯¯(*)s)]×10⁻⁴, and B(B_s⁰→J/ψη')=[3.71±0.61(stat)±0.18(syst)^+0.83_-0.57(N_{B(*)sB¯¯¯(*)s)}]×10⁻⁴. The ratio of the two branching fractions is measured to be (B(B_s→J/ψη'))/(B(B_s→J/ψη))=0.73±0.14(stat)±0.02(syst).

We present the measurement of the absolute branching fractions of B⁺ → X_cc¯K⁺ and B⁺ → D¯^(*)0π₊ decays, using a data sample of 772 × 10⁶ BB¯ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e⁺e^– collider. Here, X_cc¯ denotes η_c, J/ψ, χ_c0, χ_c1, η_c(2S), ψ(2S), ψ(3770), X(3872), and X(3915). We do not observe significant signals for X(3872) or X(3915) and set the 90% confidence level upper limits at B(B⁺ → X(3872)K⁺) < 2.6 × 10^–4and B(B⁺ → X(3915)K⁺) < 2.8 × 10^–4.
