The half lives of different isotopes are measured with a pulse-height analyzer working in its multiscale mode of operation. A NaI(Tl)-scintillation spectrometer is used as detector. Least-squares analyses are performed for each measurement. The following weighted mean values of the half lives are obtained: He/sup 6/, 0.862 plus or minus 0.017 sec. N/sup 16/, 7.31 plus or minus 0.04 sec. O/sup 19/, 29.1 plus or minus 0.3 sec. F/sup 20/, 11.56 plus or minus 0.05 sec. The half lives of different isotopes, activated by neutrons in the reactor R2-0 by means of a pneumatic rabbit, were measured wlth a pulse height analyzer worklng in its multiscale mode of operation. A Nal(Tl)-scintillation spec trometer was used as detector. Least squares analysis calculated by the Mercury computer were performed for each measurement. The following weighted mean values of the half lives were obtained: He/sup 6/: 0.862 plus or minus 0.017 sec; N/sup 16/: 7.31 plus or minus 0.04 sec; O/sup 19/: 29.1 plus or minus i 0.3 sec F/sup 20/: 11.56 plus or minus sec; A/sup 28/ :more »« less
