The National Science Bowl is a major event sponsored by DOE. For the 2010 NSB 'Bowl a journal site was created to journal the countdown which consists of regional bowls across the country. A Facebook page was created to establish a social media presence. The Journal site harvested Facebook feeds as well as feeds from NSB pictures on Flickr.
Drupal made the base functionality of this site operational in only a few days. Initially the site only had a wire frame appearance. In just a few short weeks the current theme was completed and applied to the site.
