Department of Energy Formally Commits $1 Billion in Recovery Act Funding to FutureGen 2.0
Washington, D.C. - U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu today announced that the Department of Energy has signed final cooperative agreements with the FutureGen Industrial Alliance and Ameren Energy Resources that formally commit $1 billion in Recovery Act funding to build FutureGen 2.0.
