Just imagine what would happen if the federal government pooled their great science information, put a search engine on it, and let the public use it – for free!
Well, that’s Science dot gov -- a unique collaboration between agencies. These agencies represent more than 97 percent of the research and development funding in the federal science community.
Each participating agency selects their own science information to include, contributing both large authoritative databases and agency websites. This information is made searchable, in real time, via one query.
No longer do you have to jump around between multiple agencies trying to figure out who has the information you are looking for. Just go to Science dot gov and do one search.
Your results will be relevancy ranked! And you will see clusters, by narrower topic and by date. That all helps you home in quickly and precisely on the science information that you really need.
It’s a great site….ok, so I manage it….but you try it and see if you don’t agree!
