Arthur A. Heim

Art Heim directs The
Pennsylvania State University's (Penn State's) Industrial
Research Office. In this capacity, he is responsible for
overseeing research and technology relationships between industry
and the university as well as directing the Penn State Research
Park. The office serves as the university/industry liaison,
facilitating access to technology resources of interest to the
firm.
Heim has served as director of the Pennsylvania Technical
Assistance Program, or PENNTAP. He held the position of director
of Training and Enterprise Development for the Ben Franklin
Technology Center of Central and Northern Pennsylvania and
directed the Continuing Education Program at Penn State's
Worthington Scranton Campus. Heim's industrial experience
includes managerial and technical positions within the General
Electric Company.
Heim holds B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from Penn State and is pursuing
a Ph.D. in workforce development.
